As a founding executive of Lenovo’s global online strategy, Ajit leads a global team that has helped grow online B2B and B2C sales from five to over 35 countries and extend Lenovo.com’s footprint into more than 90 countries over 13 years. Through his efforts Lenovo’s online B2C sales have achieved more than sevenfold revenue growth and tenfold profit growth, and B2B revenues have increased substantially through custom portals for global and international customers.
One of Ajit’s passions is sharing best practices to help people develop organizational skills and new capabilities. He has delivered industry keynotes on a wide range of topics from big data and predictive analytics to user experience and customer satisfaction, and data-driven marketing. Before joining Lenovo, Ajit held leadership roles at Gateway, Deloitte, Zamil Steel, and Ashok Leyland.
Ajit holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Kerala in India, a master of science in industrial management from Northern Illinois University, and an MBA from Claremont Graduate University’s Peter F. Drucker School of Management. -
