For the past three years, we’ve celebrated hundreds of outstanding marketers and digital creators whose ideas, expertise and influence have helped shape the modern marketing landscape.

Previously known as the Top 100, the list has evolved into a more curated Top 30 for 2026, spotlighting deeper impact and influence.

The Top 30 Marketing Influencers Index spotlights the marketers and creators making waves across the industry.
 

Powered by nominations, data insights, expert judging, and new for this year, community voting, it celebrates the voices inspiring ideas, sparking conversations, and pushing marketing forward.
 

Revealed live at Technology for Marketing, the Top 30 is about more than follower counts; it’s about creativity, credibility, and the people shaping what marketing looks like next.

The Top 30 Process

How the Top 30 Marketing Influencers Are Selected

The Top 30 Marketing Influencers List follows a structured, multi-stage process designed to recognise meaningful influence across the marketing industry.

Stage One: Applications Open (March)
 

Marketing professionals and creators are invited to apply for consideration. Applications are open to those who demonstrate measurable influence, audience engagement, thought leadership, or innovation within the marketing industry. This work may be demonstrated within a business role or independently.
 

Stage Two: Expert Judging & Shortlist (May)
 

Applications close in April.

A panel of industry experts reviews all eligible applications and scores them across key judging criteria. The 30 applications with the highest scores from the judges proceed to the public vote. The 30 shortlisted applications will be notified if they make it through to the public vote.

The judges scores will make up 75% of the final score.
 

NEW FOR 2025

Stage Three: Public Vote (June–July)
 

Public voting opens on the shortlisted Top 30, enabling the marketing community to have input into the final rankings. Public voting contributes to 25% of the final score, ensuring community voice plays a role in the final ranking.
 

Stage Four: Live Reveal on 23rd - 24th September
 

The official ranked Top 30 are promoted across Technology for Marketing channels, with shortlisted influencers encouraged to attend the live, in-person reveal at Technology for Marketing.
 

Nomination Criteria

To be eligible, nominees must meet at least one of the following:

-> A marketing professional with an active online presence 

-> An influencer posting regularly about marketing, tech or creative industries

-> A creator working on digital campaigns or brand partnerships 

-> A social media user with 3,000+ followers across social platforms

-> Marketing knowledge & expertise

-> Influence & thought leadership
