Cosmos by 9x9 Digital
Prabhav Pathak is the founder of 9x9 Digital, a London based eCommerce agency, and the creator of Cosmos, an AI catalog manager for Shopify that turns packaging photos into complete, publishable product listings. Prabhav works at the unglamorous end of eCommerce: product data. His team looks after some of the UK’s most demanding consumer catalogues, from a health and wellness range of 35,000 products to food and supplement brands whose every listing must respect strict allergen and labelling rules. That work produced the conviction that now shapes everything 9x9 builds: the most accurate version of a product’s information is printed on its packaging, signed off by a compliance process, and then quietly betrayed by every digital copy made of it.
Cosmos was built to fix that. Scan a barcode, photograph the pack, and the product record rebuilds itself: verbatim ingredients, nutrition
tables read off curved labels, descriptions, tags, SEO and studio quality pack shots, every field scored for confidence and held for human
approval before anything is published. Cosmos launches publicly at eCommerce Expo 2026, with live demonstrations at stand C82 showing a
complete product listing built from the pack in about three minutes. Ahead of this session, Prabhav and his team ran one of the first UK studies of AI shopping recommendations: hundreds of real buying questions put to ChatGPT, with every recommended product traced back to its sources.
The findings, including why a product with a single review beat a rival with twenty thousand, form the backbone of this talk. Prabhav’s wider work spans Shopify builds and migrations for B2B wholesalers, point of sale and inventory integrations for multi till retailers, and AI enrichment programmes covering thousands of SKUs. He speaks about product data as infrastructure: the one asset that now feeds the till, the customer’s phone, the marketplace listing and the AI assistant at the same time.
