John Lyons
Fractional CMO,
Human Hatstand Ltd
My main marketing output is my vodcast, Bin Juice. Once upon a time I would write a version from scratch to post as a blog / newsletter. Now I use JohnGPT, which I have trained to my tone of voice, my phraseology, my bluntness, my silliness and yes, even my swearing. It's rarely perfect, but it's so close that it only takes a minor edit to be totally me, and I've built it in such a way that I can keep training it.
I also built HatGPT, which I have trained to be a market research assistant to evaluate a business from its website, identify competitors based upon the problems solved rather than category, and then analyse the taglines, tone of voice, copy tropes and colour ways to inform a distinctive brand position and presentation. It also gives a score from 1-100 on product market fit comparing key messaging to ICP needs based upon 5 criteria and weighted for priority. It then scours sites such as Reddit, Quora, LinkedIn, social platforms and trade forums to identify what ideal customers are saying and asking about the brand, its competitors and category to create synthetic personas for each ICP for further research.
