As a solopreneur, one of my biggest challenges is perspective. When you're deep in a brief, it's easy to develop blind spots, and without a team around me, those blind spots can quietly worm their way into my work. This is where AI earns its place for me — I use it as a bounce board rather than an executor. Instead of asking it to come up with ideas, I ask it to pull mine apart. I'll share a creative concept and ask it to challenge my thinking, find the gaps, push back on my assumptions and ask the questions a client might. This process forces me to see the idea from angles I wouldn't have reached on my own, and by the time it reaches a client I'm prepared, polished and far more confident selling it in.
I also use it as a research assistant. The creator economy moves fast and I need to stay on top of it without losing half my day to it, so AI helps me cut through by surfacing the right statistics and flagging what's worth reading, leaving my time for actually understanding it rather than finding it.
The ideas are still mine. AI just makes sure they're the best version of themselves.
