Organisations such as Event Fair, FairGuide.com/Construct Data Verlag and International Fairs Directory (Please note that this list is not exhaustive), are targeting exhibitors with their misleading directory services and marketing leads. WE WOULD NEVER SELL DATA, therefore we advise all exhibitors not to enter into business with any companies claiming to have access to it.
Our advice to exhibitors is to IGNORE ANY COMPANIES CLAIMING THIS COMPLETELY, and to avoid communicate with them in any way. Responding simply confirms that you exist and are available at the address/email address/number they have for you, and therefore payment can be pursued. Things you can do are:
- REPORT IT TO YOUR LOCAL TRADING STANDARDS
- DO NOT PAY ANYTHING
- DO NOT COMMUNICATE WITH THE SCAMMERS even when they threaten legal action
