Leander van der Stoep has been working in e-commerce logistics for almost ten years and is now responsible for the last mile at YourSurprise, a Dutch founded company shipping personalised gifts all over the world.
Personalised gifting is a highly time-critical market where both the buyer and receiver of the gifts experience a special and often emotional moment together when the gift is unpacked.
In his role as head of transport and delivery, Leander is responsible for creating the ideal carrier mix in 27 different countries and making sure customers get the perfect delivery experience and making sure the perfect gift will be there at the perfect time.
In order to achieve this, Leander is working to bring customers, service providers and logistics companies closer together in order to create the best last mile experience we can.
