Paul has worked as a pharmacist across primary, secondary and tertiary care as well as academia. In addition to his role in the NHSBSA, he continues to work as a GP practice pharmacist in North Tyneside, and is leading on the development of a pharmacy workforce for the primary care network. He is a primary care engagement lead for the NIHR Clinical Research Network North East and North Cumbria, and has active research interests in adherence and respiratory medicines.
