Gabriel Hughes PhD, Founder and CEO of Metageni, has established a reputation for providing high-quality data analytics and custom machine learning solutions for ecommerce optimisation, working for major brands such as Jimmy Choo, AO.com, Schuh, TalkTalk and Toolstation, since founding the London-based company in 2016. With 30 years experience in quantitative analytics and research, including a phD in Economics, Gabriel believes we are currently at a turning point where AI systems will allow organisations to finally unlock the full potential of data. Before founding Metageni, Gabriel was VP of Analytics for two years at Elsevier, the world’s largest science publisher, and before that was Head of Attribution at Google for six years. At Google, he was instrumental in the development of Mult-Touch-Attribution (MTA) features for Google Analytics and enterprise platforms, which continue to influence how digital marketing is measured worldwide.
