Emma Watkinson is the CEO & Co-Founder of online fashion destination, SilkFred. She began her career on the shopfloor and now along with her co-founders, runs one of the UK's most exciting retailers. SilkFred partners with over 900 independent fashion brands to sell unique fashion that can't be found on the high street, solving the "I have nothing to wear" dilemma. SilkFred has amassed over 1 million social media fans and over 1.5 million customers, all whilst supporting up and coming fashion brands the whole way through.
Emma launched SilkFred when she was twenty-four years old and is a passionate advocate for entrepreneurship.
Emma is an ambassador for Facebook & Instagram's She Means Business Campaign, an ambassador for Retail Week's Be Inspired Programme, a guest lecturer at London College of Fashion and a Forbes mentor. Emma & SilkFred have been featured in Who What Wear, Grazia, Drapers Magazine, Daily Mail, The Evening Standard, The Telegraph, The Guardian, Metro, Sky News & ITV News.
