Tech with Purpose
With the explosion of digital innovation, both consumers and corporates are constantly bombarded with new technology, mediums, fads and a relentless demand to discover ‘the next big thing’. There is also an expectation for companies to power decision making with emerging tech – whether its digital transformation, media optimisation, growth generation or even AI powered HR functions. But with so much choice out there, have we began to use ‘innovation and tech’ blindly? Can VR actually increase sales of washing liquid, are social channels really a lifeline for consumers, will people marvel at anything new, and can the marketing industry continue to ignore transgressions masked with entrepreneurial charisma? This session will explore and discuss examples of how tech innovation can deliver genuine business results when applied with purpose via strategic, long-term and ethical considerations.
