Carrefour started their digital transformation journey eight years ago, converting their eCommerce division into an omnichannel business using an all-in-one ecommerce platform where Search was just one more piece of the puzzle.  In time, Carrefour’s technical team realised that through the implementation of an open, flexible and privacy-based Search & Navigation solution, an eCommerce platform could be built with Discovery at the core, as opposed to an add-on or an peripheral element.
